π SHOW UP FOR ODYN π
On Saturday 2nd May 2026, our club will be dedicating the entire round to one very special little boy Odyn and his incredibly brave fight against cancer.
Odyn’s big sister Willow is one of our own, proudly playing in the Maryland Wallsend Netball Club Magpies Under 9s, and this is something that hits deeply within our club family.
We’re calling on all players, teams, families, and supporters to get behind our “Show Up for Odyn” round by wearing YELLOW π
Socks, ribbons, hair ties anything bright and bold to show our love, strength, and support.
β¨ Special moment of the day:
Willow will be recognised as our Captain of the Day, representing not just her team, but the strength and resilience of her entire family.
This is what being part of a club is all about standing together, lifting each other up, and showing up when it matters most.
π A GoFundMe page is available, and all donations big or small are so greatly appreciated as the family navigates this incredibly tough time.

After the games, the Minmi community will be hosting a family fun day & Night, so we encourage everyone to head down and continue showing their support.
Let’s fill the courts with yellow, bring the noise, and show Odyn and his family just how strong this community is.
